This six-CD Legacy Collection intends to celebrate, disseminate, and honor the music of Tim Henderson – a phenomenal songwriter and balladeer whose songs were held in high regard by legendary musicians including Tom Paxton, Allen Damron, Kate Wolf, Stan Rogers, Peter Yarrow, and Townes Van Zandt. Tim was a popular performer at venues like the Kerrville Folk Festivals, The Walnut Valley Festival, and Mountain Stage. Over fifty of his songs have been recorded by other artists, Including Tompall and the Glaser Brothers, whose brilliant recording of “Maria Consuelo” was on the Country Charts.

The 75, or so, recordings were gathered from throughout Tim’s life, from live festival stages, in the studio, from house concerts, and impromptu performances, taking us on a journey into the kaleidoscopic world of Tim Henderson – genius, poet, storyteller, seeker, jokester. The sound quality does vary, the song quality never does.
